Fail: The Dumbest Way to Load a Porsche Carrera GT Onto a Truck
You would think that the owner of an über rare and outrageously expensive supercar like the Porsche Carrera GT would be extra careful when it comes to transporting the exotic model. Well, you may want to reconsider that thought after watching the video after the jump. And yes, they actually used a pair of unchained wooden planks to load the Carrera GT onto the truck’s flatbed with a damaging
VIDEO: Pontiac GTO Barks up the Wrong Tree at Houston Coffee and Cars Event
You can find one at every car event – you know, the show off type that ends up getting more attention than he bargained for. At the Houston Coffee and Cars event that took place on April 2, that special someone was the owner of a red Pontiac GTO (the Holden Monaro based model). The GTO driver tried to make a cool exit out of the corner but lost control of the Goat hopping over a curb and into a

VIDEO: Driver Smacks Lamborghini Gallardo on Curve, Blames Broken Shoe Heel
A twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Gallardo tuned by Underground Racing received an unwanted...facelift when the driver smashed the Italian supercar on a curve at the Caffeine and Octane event in Georgia this past weekend. A forum member who appears to be a friend of the car’s owner uploaded several photos and a description of the crash over at the Car Lounge. According to the post, the blame is
Android App Locks Down Your Cell Phone When You’re Driving
Oh, if only all those futurists from the 1930s could have predicted a device as wondrous as the Smart Phone. It’s the communicator from Star Trek, a world atlas, the world’s largest department store and a personal assistant / concierge all rolled into one. You could organise a wedding or run a global empire from one of these things, and many people do. Unfortunately, like seemingly everything
VIDEO: Driver Gets the Fright of his Life when Wooden Plank Impales Car’s Windshield
It’s perhaps a driver’s worst nightmare: an object coming out of nowhere when you least expect it and don’t have time to do anything about it. In this truly amazing video, yet at the same time shockingly scary, the object is a wooden plank that flies straight into the car’s windshield just missing the driver. Of course he may just have avoided the plank if he hadn’t been videotaping and driving

FAIL: Dump Truck Goes Underwater, Driver Narrowly Escapes [Video]
Operating heavy machinery near a muddy riverbank can be very hazardous, as this video demonstrates. A mud water-trapped Russian dump truck was just about to be pulled clear by a bulldozer, when it seems that the towing cable snapped, causing it to go underwater in less than 5 seconds. We’d say it’s quite a miracle that the driver made it out of the cabin and the presumably cold waters. Watch the

VIDEO: Female Driver in Camaro gets Cornered by Police but Doesn't Know When to Stop...
Trying to get away from the police in the first place is downright stupid, but the female driver of this fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro drop-top took stupidity to a whole new level when she tried to rear-end / ram a police car that had her cornered on the road. The lady driver huffed and puffed her Camaro's rear wheels but in the end, she gave up. As for the driver of the older-generation

VIDEO: BMW Owner Leaves Car in Gear to Push, House Pays the Price
So here's how this 'fail' story goes: A female driver gets stuck on a patch of ice / snow in her automatic BMW 1-Series. After a few unsuccessful attempts of trying to free the Bavarian hatch from behind the steering wheel, she decides to leave it in gear and give it a push herself. While the BMW driver eventually managed to clear out of the slippery part of the road, she ended up in another mess

VIDEO: Sanitation Workers Wreak Havoc on a Parked Ford Explorer
Even if you know your winter driving ABCs and have properly equipped your car, sometimes there’s no way to avoid getting snowed in. Should that happen in a thriving metropolis, chances are that the sanitation “cavalry” will have your back covered. However, this wasn’t the case in New York, as a Sanitation Department loader got stuck and, in what can only be described as a very poor effort of

VIDEO: Dangerously Foolish Hooning-Hour on Mulholland Drive
While a twisty road and a good sports car are a match made in heaven, public hooning is never a good idea, especially if you don’t possess adequate driving skills. Unfortunately, most people don’t think about the consequences and repeatedly act out in high traffic areas, such as California’s Mulholland Drive (or at least that's the road listed on Youtube). Seeing these amateurs almost bite the

Push and Pull: Ferrari F430 Spider on a Leash...
Even though it's an unfortunate situation to be in, we hope for the owner's sake that the reason why these men put are pushing and pulling this Ferrari F430 Spider has to do with the snow and the frozen roads, and not something relevant to the story line of the "Gone in 60 Seconds" film...
