Ford makes $1 billion profit

In a big turnaround from making losses over the past few years, and during a time when the worlds auto majors are declaring bankruptcy, Ford has declared nearly $1 billion in profits.The company has been involved in major cost cutting efforts and also sold Land Rover and Jaguar to Tata.
